Born on September 21st 1980 in Strasbourg, Sébastien HUGEL begins the drums at 5 years old. Two years later, he joins the National Conservatoire of the Region of Strasbourg in the class of the percussion.

At 10 years old, he joins the rows of the “Harmonie de Blaesheim”, a small village located at the South of Strasbourg.

Immersed since his birth in the folk music of Alsace, Sébastien is currently member of various orchestras: Orchestre Roger HALM, Orchestre d’Harmonie de l’Electricité de Strasbourg, orchestre Arts et Loisirs, les Rhinwagges as an additional musician and in various orchestras of the Region, in all the styles.

A lover of the Bloosmusik, he writes his first composition in 2003 and entitled it "Zwei güeti Frind" for his friend Roger HALM whom he owes the love of this style of music.

Since, several pieces were composed by this young composer impassioned by the traditional music.
